Regarding Demons

11/14/04 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For Timothy’s Sister, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Regarding Timothy’s sister’s claim of seeing demons and spirits. She asked if they were “lost souls” who needed her help. She also asked if she should rebuke the “bad ones”.

Thus says The Lord: Woe, I say to you, demons are not to be trifled with! There is but One, One only, to which complete authority over demons is given - YahuShua HaMashiach, He who is called Christ and Jesus, The Lord. For those who have not truly received of The Spirit are vulnerable to the wiles of the devil; and those who take it upon themselves to fight against demons are in grave danger, and will be easily overpowered by them. Yet there are those few who are chosen by God, who may rebuke demons in YahuShua’s name, but only those to whom it is given. And this is not of their own authority, but The Messiah’s authority.
Yet to your sister it is not given. For her situation is both real and imagined. She sees and hears that which is of her own making; paranoid delusions coupled with hallucinations, brought forth from years of illicit drug use; false visions increased in her by the evil one and those who serve him, in an effort to keep her blind to The Truth. For she knows not The Way, nor will she embrace The Truth as it really is. Thus she remains at war with herself, for her sins remain uncovered.

For those who seek to understand the dark will soon find
Themselves trapped in the midst of it, unable to break free...

Yet those who seek The Light will find it,
And I will show them The Way;
In these darkness has no foothold...

I am The Lord.

5/29/10 From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior
The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

This question was asked of The Lord: Lord, what do You say regarding those who take it upon themselves to be “spiritual warriors”, rebuking demons in the name of Jesus?

Thus says The Lord: YahuShua is My name. Therefore hear My words, O ignorant and vain generation, for you know nothing yet as you ought to know. For one who endeavors to gain advantage over that which they know nothing about shall surely be ensnared by it. Yet there are those who are chosen by The Father, in whom My spirit dwells, who may rebuke demons in My name, but only those to whom it is given. And this is not of their own authority, but My authority.
For as it is written: No one can have anything unless God gives it,[1] and apart from Me one can do nothing.[2] For I have already told you: Those who seek to understand the dark will soon find themselves trapped in the midst of it, unable to break free. Yet those who seek The Light will find it, and I will show them The Way; in these darkness has no foothold.[3] For people who practice such offenses walk in pride, knowing neither Me nor My will. And any who seek to do battle with evil spirits, apart from Me, will fail and be severely harmed.[4] For I am The Only Lord of Hosts. I am Lord over Heaven and Earth, over good and evil; ALL are subject to My will, even to My every word. For where I am, there is no darkness at all.
What then is man? He is but flesh, his power of no use at all. And in his pride he seeks glory for himself, a false valor. And so he continually turns to his own devices, deceiving himself, thinking he stands though he has fallen. Foolhardy, he rushes into battle where he suffers injury after injury, ignoring his wounds, wounds which remain unhealed, infecting the whole of the body. Yet he continues on in his arrogance, his pride driving him forward, unable to see that he is cast down, saying within himself, “Look at my accomplishments, look upon all I have done!” And all the while satan laughs, saying, “Behold my acolytes; see how these men of battle have become like me.”

Sons and daughters of men, you are no warriors...

You are casualties, spoils of a war
Which was won from the foundation
Of the world, of which I was also slain...

For I alone bear the scars of battle...

Lo, I bear them in My hands and My feet,
Upon My back and in My side, wounds which I
Received in the house of My friends...

Says The Lord.
